Qualification
- Nursing Superintendent: Possess a degree of Master of Science (Nursing) recognised by Indian Nursing Council and have combined or separate experience of about two years in clinical area or community health nursing. A degree of Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) recognised by Indian Nursing Council and have combined or separate experience of about two year in clinical area or community health nursing.A degree of Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) recognised by Indian Nursing Council and have combined or separate experience of about five years in clinical area or community health nursing. A degree of Post Basic diploma in nurse Practitioner in Midwifery recognised by Indian Nursing Council and have combined or separate experience of about four years in clinical area or community health nursing. The candidate appointed by direct selection should be registered with Gujarat Nursing Council as Registered Midwife or equivalent under the Gujarat Nurse, Midwives and Health Visitors Act, 1968 at the time of application for direct selection. Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules,1967 [C] Have adequate knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi or both

(Nursing)/ post basic diploma (Nursing) degree from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; and recognised by the Indian Nursing Council and have One year Clinical Experience in Government Dispensary/ CHC/ Hospital or One year Clinical Experience in private / public sector hospital having at least Fifty Beds, after obtaining aforesaid qualification OR Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and have Five years Clinical Experience in Government Dispensary/CHC/ hospital or have Five year Clinical Experience in private / public sector hospital having at least Fifty Beds, after obtaining above qualification The candidate appointed by direct selection shall be registered with the Gujarat Nursing Council as Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife or in the equivalent cadre under the Gujarat Nurse, Midwives and Health Visitors Act, 1968 at the time of application for direct selection. [B] Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules,1967 [C] Have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both
- Sr. Pharmacist/ Pharmacist: A bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such by the Government or declared be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, and have about two year’s experience on the post not below the rank of Junior Pharmacist, Class III, in the medical colleges and attached hospitals; or in the field of pharmacist or medical representative in the Government or Government Undertaking Board, Corporation or Limited Company established under the Companies Act, 2013 on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Junior Pharmacist. [B] Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules,1967 [C] Have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both
- Jr. Pharmacist: A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy obtained from any of the Universities established or Incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or A Diploma in Pharmacy obtained from any of the Universities established or Incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, and have about two years experience as a Junior Pharmacist in Government, Government Undertaking or Board or as a Dispenser in the hospital or in dispensaries or as a Pharmacist or Medical Representative of any of the pharmaceutical company established under the Companies Act, 2013. Or A Pharmd (Doctor o Pharmacy) degree obtained from any of the Universities established or Incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or The candidate appointed by direct selection shall require to get himself registered with Gujarat State Pharmacy Council as per the provision of the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
